Kornati Islands Nature Park
Wilderness is at the heart of the Kornati Islands. Barely a sound is heard as one paddles though the archipelago. It has a wonder of life below the surface and just a wisp of cloud on the horizon. This is true wilderness with one exception, the food. Kornati, besides being famous for its myriad of island, also has some of the best restaurants in the country. Contained the park boundary there are over 200 islands the surrounding area three times that many islands, making this a true paddlers paradise. During this trip the we will enjoy the true heart of the Adriatic as it has been for millennia, remote and untouched and meet people with a kindness and willingness to share what is dear to them, the place that is the Kornati National Park.
